Simple game.
Know the rules.
Rock. Paper. Scissors. A quick duel with another player, using test HYPE on Elysium.
HYPE used here has no real monetary value. USD amounts are simulated estimates, not redeemable balances. The contract is unaudited.
01. Pick your rival
Connect an EVM wallet that supports Elysium testnet (chain ID 99801) and sign the ownership message to use your wallet profile. You need test HYPE for the stake and transaction gas.
Create an open challenge for anyone to join, or open an online player’s profile to challenge them directly. Select BO1, BO3 or BO5: first to 1, 2 or 3 wins. Free bot practice is always BO3 and needs no wallet.

Choose Rock, Paper or Scissors before the timer ends. Rock beats Scissors, Scissors beats Paper, Paper beats Rock. Matching hands are a tie and do not award a point.
No choice means no throw: your hand stays hidden and you lose that round if your rival picked a hand. If both players fail to choose, the game is cancelled. Surrendering gives the match to your opponent.
03. One game, one pot
Each player sends the same stake directly from their wallet to the match contract. There is no in-app deposit balance. A 0.01 HYPE stake from each player makes a 0.02 HYPE pot.
The current contract allows 0.0001–1 HYPE per player. The winner receives the full pot; this contract deducts no platform fee. Blockchain gas is separate and is not refunded with your stake.
04. Server plays referee
JANK’s server handles choices, timers, scores and the match result. It signs the outcome with a designated referee key. The contract accepts that signed result and pays the winner, or returns each stake for a cancelled match.
The contract does not independently replay the rounds or prove the result. You are trusting the game server to referee fairly. Source verification lets you inspect the deployed code; it is not a security audit.
05. Cancel, reconnect, recover
An unmatched challenge can be cancelled to return the host’s stake. Open challenges expire after three minutes; direct invitations expire after two. Expiry makes the stake refundable, but returning it still requires a blockchain transaction.
After a rival joins, the contract allows 20 minutes for settlement. If no valid result is settled before that deadline, either stake can be recovered through the contract’s timeout refund, which returns both players’ stakes. JANK’s background worker attempts settlement and expiry refunds.
Check My games in the top bar for pending funding, payouts, refunds and recovery actions. Closing your tab does not cancel a funded game, stop its timer or extend its expiry. If a wallet cannot receive a payment, the contract records a claim for that wallet instead.
